Athlete José Roberto Vaz Guimarães won the South Brazilian Swimming Championship in the 4×50 meter medley modality, held in Florianópolis.

The swimmer also won silver medals in the 4×50 meter freestyle relay and bronze medals in the 50 meter freestyle.
