On Saturday, September 16, athlete José Roberto Vaz Guimarães Neto, 20, sponsored by Cotesa, participated in the Santa Catarina Swimming Championship.

Our athlete had an excellent performance during the event:  he was runner-up in the 50 meters freestyle. In addition, at the opening of the relay, he made a time that would place him among the finalists in the Brazilian swimming absolute championship, which was won by Olympic champion César Cielo. He was also called up for the Brazilian university games in Goiânia.

The championship took place at the Unisul Aquatic Complex, in Florianópolis.
