The Cotesa Engineering was approved in the process and maintenance of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, as amended in 2015, as well as OHSAS 18001, the scope of Management and Maintenance of Electric Power Transmission Systems up to 525 KV. "These certificates test the credibility and our ability to provide services that meet the needs of customers, in addition to the applicable legal and regulatory requirements", comments the president of the Cotesa Group, João Junklaus.

Over the three years that the certificate is valid, the Cotesa Engineering is audited annually by the Bureau Veritas Certification certification to ensure continued maintenance, being a measure that helps to standardize processes within the company. The certification is a strategic component and defines requirements for the quality, environment, health and safety management system, being recognized internationally.

The continuity of certification refers to the activities at the headquarters in Florianópolis and at the units in Santo Ângelo (RS) and Assis (SP). COTESA will be audited again for validation and maintenance of its certificates in 2019.
