The Cotesa Engineering took over earlier this month of February the Operation & Maintenance services for hydroelectric plant, among the southern municipalities of Agudo and Nova Palma (RS) with an installed capacity of 125 MW and 80 MW of assured power.

There are 21 employees Cotesa Engineering to perform the services of O & M, asset management and dam safety, which has 51m high and 610m long and a reservoir of 1 920 km². "Our local team, supported by the Operation and Maintenance Engineering structure, located at the Company's headquarters, performs preventive, predictive and corrective operation and maintenance, carries out the planning of major shutdowns and modernization, in addition to monitoring and evaluating the instrumentation of the dam to verify the behavior and structural integrity”, comments the Director of Operations, Rafael Franzoni.

The Cotesa Engineering currently operates and maintains approximately 2.4 GW of renewable energy assets, with 1 GW of solar and 1.4 GW of wind, as well as 4200 km of transmission lines and 59 large substations connected to the SIN.
