The Cotesa Engineering revalidated the Quality Management Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and Environment in audit held from 26 to 29 July. This is the second time that the company has obtained the result without non-conformities, that is, all the points checked were within the normative standards required by the norms and the certifying body.
Revalidations are annual and correspond to ISO 9001 (Quality), 14001 (Environment) and 45001 (Occupational Safety and Health). Cotesa Engenharia has obtained ISO 9001 and 45001 certificates since 2013 and 14001 since 2014, always in an audit carried out by Bureau Veritas, the largest ISO certifier in the world.
The processes that meet the scope of the certification were inspected at the offices of Cotesa Engineering in Florianópolis, and field unit in Assisi (SP) for Transmission Line maintenance activities and substation maintenance. In addition to these, the field unit in Santo Ângelo (RS) is also part of the certified scope. The processes evolved from the control of activities, compliance with mandatory requirements regarding ISO standards and control and monitoring of processes.
The renewal of certification for the eighth consecutive year reflects the standardization activities of Cotesa Engineering, with control of risks and opportunities, compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as promoting continuous improvement.
This is reflected in high-value training, management methods, cost and expense savings, promotes the integration of areas, helps to mitigate errors and monitor the performance of activities. Certification in ISO standards is synonymous with excellence and adopting the best and most renowned practices for structuring and standardizing processes and businesses.
