Cotesa Engenharia controls 100% of solid waste

This April 22, Earth Day is celebrated and we contribute to environmental management by our employees working in electrical assets and in our administrative headquarters in Florianópolis.

Our headquarters produces 2 tons of solid waste and we control 100% of this amount, making the equipment available for the correct treatment destination.

New substation of UTE Pampa Sul starts power generation

Consórcio Cotesa-Conenge was responsible for the migration works of the Transmission Line connection of the UTE Pampa Sul, in Candiota (RS), ensuring the flow of energy to the SIN.

There are 150MWp of installed power, solving the temporary connection that the Plant had with the previous substation, generating more security and stability for the national electricity sector.

Distributed generation should release 8 GW in Brazil in 2022

Solar distributed generation in Brazil is expected to grow by approximately 8 GW in 2022, reaching a total of almost 16 GW of installed power. The sector expects to achieve, in one year, a result similar to that of the last decade.

Between 2012 and February 2022, distributed generation accumulated 9.4 GW of power in Brazil — of which 9.2 GW are from photovoltaic installations.

The importance of cleaning transmission line insulators

Assets that do not have a cleaning plan for their insulators are more susceptible to automatic shutdowns due to excessive pollution.

Know what actions are necessary to identify the type of pollution, cleaning methods and corrective measures for your Transmission Line not to be damaged.

Cotesa Engenharia in negotiations for international expansion

A report by a company that analyzes industrial sectors in Latin America highlighted the advanced negotiations of Cotesa Engenharia to expand its services abroad.

Expansion of the international portfolio involves wind turbine maintenance activities and participation in the bidding process for energy integration in West Africa.

Simulation of self-recovery at a power plant breaks record

O&M teams managed to self-recover the Dona Francisca HPP in just 12 minutes, breaking the record for the shortest time in the asset's history.

Regulation of the electricity sector requires that the assets are restored in up to 30 minutes, guaranteeing the availability of energy for the population in a short time.

Installed power in Brazil in 2021 expands 57% beyond the target

The result represents the addition of two UHE Jirau, the fourth largest energy generator in the country, in terms of installed power from projects that began operating in the electricity matrix in 2021.

The wind power sector had the largest entry into commercial operation recorded in the country, with 48.85% of the total installed capacity, while accounting for 11.46% of the Brazilian energy matrix.

Cotesa Engenharia receives national HR award

A Cotesa Engenharia recebeu o prêmio “Selo Empresa que dá feedback!”, da recrutadora Gupy Recrutamento & Seleção e está entre as 300 empresas brasileiras no levantamento.

The classification is the result of Cotesa Engenharia's institutional policy of transparency in the selection process, in addition to commitment and respect for people.

Regulation of Hybrid Power Plants optimizes energy generation

Aneel regulamentou funcionamento das Centrais Geradoras Híbridas (UGH). Estudo mostra que para cada 1MW de energia eólica instalado é possível adicionar até 35% de capacidade solar
