On the last day February 3, two professionals Cotesa Engineering, Eng. Renato Tables (Presidency of the Technical Assistant) and Felipe Andreas (Business Intelligence Manager) conducted a technical and institutional visit to the premises of the National System Operator (ONS) in Recife, hosted by the engineer Flávio Lins, Real Time Manager.

“According to ONS's view, the electricity sector is interested in improving the quality of operating services provided by outsourced centers, such as the one COTESA recently installed in Florianópolis”, explains Renato Quadros.

“We are convinced that this visit was an important step, as we are consolidating ourselves as an important operating agent, concentrating the dispatch of a series of assets that interface with the ONS. In addition, Cotesa is consolidated at the national level in the operation of wind power plants, which today add up to 11 GW of installed capacity, and is expected to reach 13 GW in 2019”, comments Felipe Andreas.

For 2017, there is already a scheduled integration of our area of operation with ONS Recife, with workshops, training and process benchmarking.
