COTESA Engineering completes one year of EAD training for collaborators
Strengthening its policy of constant evolution and quality improvement in service provision, COTESA Engenharia has, since 2021, been offering its employees training and qualification through distance learning. During this period, the 377 employees enrolled have taken an average of six courses each.
The company has its own EAD platform, which currently has 28 technical training courses on O&M of generation and transmission of electric assets so that its employees remain in constant development. It also offers training for mandatory certifications, such as Regulatory Standards (NR) and regulated certifications, in addition to administrative support.
Among the most popular are simulations and contingency plans, responsibilities of the person responsible for the installation and executor of the service and current transformer. All courses are given by COTESA Engineering professionals, following guidelines and auditing by the responsible agencies, such as the National Electric System Operator (ONS) and ANEEL.
According to COTESA Engenharia's CEO, Adriano Vignoli, EAD training unites two of the company's institutional policies. "We unite the objective of always providing the best possible quality service to our partners, as well as contributing to the growth of our employees," explains Vignoli.
Maintenance technician, Valério Lizot has already taken nine courses through the company's EAD platform and comments that this is the first time he has been able to combine practical training with distance learning. "Every training held is an opportunity to acquire new knowledge and also to remember topics we have already seen, thus we grow professionally and prepare ourselves for new challenges," says the employee.
